This class trains civilian bystanders and medical personnel alike to respond in emergency situations with bleeding control techniques until first responders arrive. Uncontrolled bleeding can lead to death. In this class, you will learn how to safely and properly apply a bleeding control techniques, including tourniquet application when necessary, until further treatment can be obtained. Attendees with a medical background may be eligible to become instructors of the course. More information will be provided upon successful completion of the course. Cost: $30 per person. This fee is non-refundable. Course attendees will be provided with a tourniquet as part of the course fee. Fees must be paid in advance to hold your spot in the class.
